Vivos

Vivos is a photographic series created in Buenos Aires during a residency at AZOTEA. Inspired by Richard Avedon's The American West, it features frontal portraits of street vendors shot against a white background, right in the heart of the city. By making these everyday workers visible, the project aims to highlight their often overlooked presence in the urban landscape.

In parallel, a film of the same name is currently in production. A first draft was shown on June 10 during an open studio at AZOTEA Microcentro. Vivos offers a sensory journey in which the workers’ voices overlay long-lens images shot at 560mm, creating a mental and poetic vision of Buenos Aires.
